For pretty much all games where sound isn't an essential part of gameplay, I just turn off all the sounds and music and listen to my own music. This is one of the few games in quite a while which I actually listen to the in-game music.
Good shtuff. Actually, I'm listening to it right now. -------------------- ![]() |

Thanks (and yes I did write them all)! I'm really glad that people are diggin' me tunes,
About your guess... umm.... actually none of those were my influences (particular albums in brackets) New Order Primal Scream Orbital Squarepusher Pizzacoto Five (the fifth release from matador) Cornelius (Fantasma) Steve Reich muziq Postal Service spiritualized (Pure Phase) mogwai Chemical Brothers (surrender) songs in old pc demos such as those by Purple Motion and more of course... Some music that I like but are not quite evident in the songs for gate88: beatles the who the kinks stone roses ahhh, thinking about all these makes me want to take the rest of the night off and just listen to music. -j -------------------- ![]() why is there a big blank space here? |

speaking of awesome music, why not throw in a custom soundtrack feature? that way, i can listen to your awesome music and my favorite OCR's in one playlist

hey, you can add your own music by slapping oggs in the music folder.
a custom player thing might make it into a final version (or update of the final) but i gotta say... it's looooooooooow priority -j |

The music is brilliant. I listen to it all the time, even when I'm not playing Gate88. Right now I have the game minimised so I can listen to the music while doing other things.
